Objectives
- Maintain a quality management system based on the requirements of ANSI/ISO/ASQ Q9001-2008 to foster continuous improvement and problem prevention rather than problem resolution.
- Utilize the Wisconsin Forward Award program and criteria for self-assessment and organizational learning and for assessing our performance against rigorous quality standards and benchmarks.
- Communicate our mission and guiding principles to all employees, and to assign individual responsibilities and accountability.
- Use statistical methods where feasible to monitor quality performance and isolate problems for immediate resolution.
- Maintain a team approach that emphasizes enhancing the competitiveness of the company through increased quality and productivity.
Course of Action
The final delivery of your castings represents decisions made by skilled, knowledgeable people. Each decision moves your castings closer to the reliable, finished product you expect and deserve. In brief, each production step has its own rigorous, internal standards to comply with even before your standards are met. For us, there is no other way.
Standards that have Built Our Reputation and Business
- Concurrent Engineering - Full technical support for your casting requirements or we can provide quotes from your prints
- Customer Communication - Involves sales, order entry, scheduling and timely response with information such as delivery dates and prices
- Production Casting - Involves all the steps necessary to produce a casting. Production jobs utilize comprehensive process sheets and work instruction
- Process Control - Involves metallurgical analysis as well as specific procedures throughout the production process monitored by technical specialists
- Product Finishing - Fully-equipped cleaning/grinding facilities including heat-treating capabilities
- Packaging - Safe and clean packaging is provided
- Delivery - Utilization of clients' specified carrier for on-time delivery
- Records Retention - Critical records are retained for the active life of the part plus one year or to your requirements
